01Scope

This policy applies to the Smart Controller Pro mobile App. It does not apply to websites, products, or services that we do not operate.

02Information we process

Nearby Bluetooth device information

When you use the Bluetooth feature, the App scans for compatible nearby BLE devices and processes device names, device identifiers (which may be a MAC address on Android or a UUID on iOS), signal information, service and characteristic identifiers, and Bluetooth advertising data. This information is used locally to display devices, connect to the controller, maintain the connection, and exchange commands.

Controller data and settings

The App processes data received from the connected controller, including connection and binding status, controller profiles, braking output and sensitivity settings, real-time operating values, fault codes, and wiring or lamp status. The App also processes commands and settings you send to the controller.

Local preferences

The App stores selected language, introduction acknowledgement, active controller profile, controller curves, binding state, and the latest fault and wiring status in local App storage. We do not receive this local data on our servers.

Basic device context

The App reads the operating system/platform and system language to choose the correct interface language and the appropriate method for opening the help manual. This information is not used to create a user profile.

03Device permissions

You can deny or revoke permissions in your device settings. Bluetooth features may not work without the relevant Bluetooth or nearby-device permission.

04Network activity

The App’s controller functions operate locally over Bluetooth and do not require an Internet account or our application servers. However, when you open Settings → Help, the App downloads or displays the product manual from an Alibaba Cloud OSS address (qi-appstore.oss-cn-beijing.aliyuncs.com).

As with an ordinary web request, the hosting provider may receive technical request data such as your IP address, request time, and browser or device network information. We use this connection only to provide the requested manual. The current App code does not upload controller data, profiles, fault data, Bluetooth identifiers, or other local App data to that address.

05How we use information

• Discover and connect to compatible nearby controllers.
• Send your selected configuration to the controller and display controller responses.
• Remember local preferences and restore recent controller status.
• Diagnose connection and protocol behavior through on-device technical logs.
• Display or download the help manual when you request it.

06Sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information. We do not share local controller data for advertising, profiling, or analytics. The only external service identified in the reviewed code is the cloud storage host used to deliver the help manual, as described above. We may disclose information if required by applicable law or to protect legal rights and safety.

07Storage and retention

Controller settings, profiles, binding state, language, and recent status are stored locally on your device for as long as needed to provide the App’s functions. You can remove this data by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App. Temporary or saved copies of the help manual may remain in the App’s local file area until removed by the operating system, you clear App data, or you uninstall the App. The cloud storage provider may retain ordinary server logs under its own operational policies.

08Security

We limit processing to what is needed for Bluetooth control and local preferences. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but keeping controller information on-device reduces external exposure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your mobile device and controlling physical access to the connected equipment.

09Children’s privacy

The App controls vehicle-related equipment and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.

10Your choices and rights

You can stop Bluetooth scanning, disconnect the controller, revoke App permissions, clear local App storage, or uninstall the App. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to ask about, access, correct, delete, or restrict our processing of personal information. Because the App does not send its local controller data to us, we generally cannot retrieve that local data from our systems.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice where required.
